Sekunjalo MaAfrica Arts is a youth organization based in the dusty suburb of Magwegwe Township in Bulawayo.
The group was formed in 2012 by Arnold Ndebele and to date has 15 members, 8 being ladies. Through Art, the group aims to spark debate on social issues affecting society today. They have performed in a variety of shows and festivals including the Mecuf festival, Ideas Festival, Grace to Heal, Choppies and Gloria Flour Roadshows, and Peace Concerts among others. The group competed and were provincial winners of the Chibuku Neshamwari Festival in 2014 and also won the Bulawayo City Council 120 years Celebration traditional dance category. Sekunjalo Ma-Africa performs at festivals, galas, corporate events, parties, weddings, and poetry, music and theatre workshops. Look out for their Winter explosion production to be launched soon.
