The Zimbabwean Social Media awards are elusive accolades recognising and rewarding the most influential Zimbabwean social media personalities. Nominations were submitted by the general public earlier this year with over 800 submissions by the deadline. The judges, namely Nigel Mugamu (263Chat), Garth Jones (v360 Africa), Paul Brezhnez Malaba (DatCitizen Creative Group), Eunice Jenje (Quill Advertising and Marketing) and Brett Goosen (Jericho Advertising) scoured through the nominees to shortlist the top ones in each category, bringing the shortlist to a sizable number. The final and most important task was then given to the public and with winners coming from all corners of business and creativity. Of note is Munashe Chirisa who was nominated in three categories and bagged all three, boss moves!
