After all the hype and trending hashtag the news is finally out! TV Host & Actress, Mbo Mahocs joins one of South Africa’s biggest television soapies, Scandal, this week as a new character called Chichi, a cheeky young lady who will do everything it takes to get what she wants. This shouldn’t be hard for the born go getter considering that is what she has been doing in the industry, setting her eyes on something and working bottom up until she gets it. Not new to the screen, Mbo Mahocs who is known for CoHosting Thatha Wena, a PAN African conversational television show on Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation (ZBC TV), recently hosted the Bulawayo Arts Awards alongside other outstanding Zimbabwean voices. I can not begin to express the level of excitement & at the same time, humility and gratitude I have towards playing ChiChi on ETV’s Scandal. This is a platform that I am privileged to have as an actress, to learn and grow.
